EL PASO - Detectives with the El Paso Police Department's Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a local soccer coach for Indecency With A Child. On Thursday, 29-year old Jorge Muniz turned himself into police after learning he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Muniz is an El Paso soccer coach who offers private lessons to male and female players.
Detectives report that, in May of 2012, Muniz committed acts against a 16-year old female victim which constituted indecency with a child.
Muniz was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on one count of indecency with a child with a bond of $25,000.
Given Muniz's access to children investigators believe it is possible there may be other victims. Anyone with information or possible victim is encouraged to contact the police at (915) 832-4400.
